CastTec Polaris Arched Inserts – Multi Fuel Stove

The CastTec Solid Fuel (SF) is a range of beautiful cast-iron inserts that integrate with one of the most efficient 5kW output stoves on the market today.

The SF inset stove has a multi-fuel grate which allows the burning of seasoned wood or smokeless fuels, achieving outputs of 5kW as well as efficiencies approaching 80% with the most minimal of carbon emissions.

All CastTec cast-iron inserts, mantelpieces and hearths shown are interchangeable, allowing you to design your own fireplace; it is advisable when using solid fuels to use only natural materials for the mantelpieces and hearths.

In addition, hearths (whether boxed and lipped or Munro) should be cut into sections to allow for expansion.

The Polaris Integra Inset is a 5kW cast-iron stove with an arch design which can be polished or matt black in finish. This model looks attractive by itself but also integrates uniquely with our stunning Integra cast-iron fireplace range shown on the following pages.

The Polaris Inset has a convection chamber which allows cold air to enter below the stove and pass up through the chamber whilst warming up and then re-enters the room through vents above the stove door creating an increased efficiency.
